Chamber Opposes Mandatory Inclusionary Housing

The Board of Directors of the Vallejo Chamber voted unanimously at its regular meeting on February 20th to oppose the Inclusionary Housing ordinance being proposed by the City of Vallejo Housing & Community Development staff. The Chamber cited  the potential limit on future development, restriction of homeowners equity appreciation, lack of data on similar ordinances in comparable cities, and City of Vallejo budgetary concerns as its primary reasons for its opposition.  (more info)

See the Progress of Vallejo's Schools in Person

Four tour dates already scheduled. Each tour will include coffee and/or light refreshments, an overview presented by the State Administrator of the School District, Dr. Richard J. Damelio, visitations to two Vallejo Schools and an opportunity to see Vallejo's greatest resource (its children) in action. (more info)
